Premade to Custom FRP Tanks

Fiberglass Reinforced Plastics (FRP) Products

A Complete Line of FRP Tanks, FRP Valves, FRP Pipes, FRP Ducts, FRP Fittings and FRP Accessories

All of our Fiberglass Reinforced Plastics (FRP)

products are fabricated by the contact molding process in accordance with the National Bureau of Standards Voluntary Product Standard PS-15-69. This type of construction maintains the highest corrosion resistance of any Fiberglass Reinforced Plastics (FRP) laminate.

Majority of our products are custom made conforming to the national and international standards

  • ASTM C-3982
    • Contact Molded Fiber Glass Ducts & Hoods
    • NBS Voluntary Products Standard, PS 15 - 69
  • ASTM D4097 - 95a Specification for Contact Molded Glass Fiber Reinforced Thermoset Resin Corrosion Resistant Tanks
  • ASME RTP - 1 - 1995 Reinforced Thermoset Plastic Corrosion Resistant Equipment
  • ASTM D-3567 Practice for Determining Dimensions of "Fiberglass" Pipe and fittings
  • ASTM D-695 Test method of Compressive Properties of Rigid Plastics

WHY FRP TANKS

FRP Products (thanks) have gained rapid acceptance in chemical applications by virtue of some outstanding features vis-à-vis standard materials of construction. Some of these advantages offered by FRP are:

  • Strength
  • Durability - practically impervious to the effects of sunlight, heat, cold and other weather conditions
  • Impact resistance
  • Light weight -Easier and cheaper handling, transportation and installation are required for FRP.
  • Superior corrosion and chemical resistance- corrosion resistance to a wide range of chemicals, resulting in longer service life, less maintenance and repairs down time
  • Excellent strength to weight ratio - FRP has a higher strength-to-weight ratio than steel
  • and Safety - The electrical insulating properties of FRP Products resistance to stray galvanic electrical currents and fire resisting properties which will cause the flame to self extinguish within a time period after the fire source is removed

FRP STORAGE TANKS

  • Hand Lay-up Fiberglass Design Promotes greater axial Strength
  • Non-corrosive
  • Light weight
  • Durable
  • Leak proof
  • Low maintenance
  • FRP tanks can be oriented in use with the long axis either vertical or horizontal. The majority of above ground tanks are vertical
  • Custom fabricated FRP tanks and scrubbers available - any size
